in my opinion...looking at the behaviour of the ex semi, he might have even done it on purpose....bringing his new boyfriend when he met uke after he JUST WOKE UP FROM COMA and be like "you are my ex and this person is the guy i am together with since months (as you may imagine now without saying, it means i also fucked him while you were asleep and all)"....he could have just let the guy acclimate to the present first and then explained to him what he went through while use was in coma and how hard it was for him thinking he was dead and then after months of that ordeal he found someone who was moral support for him and he fell in love and decided to move on because he thought he was really dead at that point....it would have still been hard for the use to realise he lost his boyfriend without being able to do anything or even have excuses because he was in coma and off the grid....but it would have not been as insanely traumatising and painful as what he went through with what ex seme did. Even if the author doesn't bring this up, in my opinion he really had ulterior motives doing this. He resents that he still loves use and cannot find anyone he loves as much as he loved him, so he wants to see the use in one sided pain as well to feel better and not like the one "who lost out"...he surely went dark and insane in those years...even before he seemed a bit like he was angry at use for leaving and loving photography that much and not make seme his one and only priority. i really dislike him. now he sees uke be himself and move on again slowly and that makes him anxious and realise his disgusting twisted feelings and basically how he still wants him. if use had cried there more when he introduced his new bf and went after him more and acted like he would die without him, he might even have plaid the martyr who went back to him at some point to stabilise him and accommodate both lovers or sth....aich...he is twisted this guy....he just looks cute...

Y’all saying he needa move on but y’all gotta understand he just woke up so that relationship is still fresh in his mind and it’s like a nap for him. While the ex had time to move on, he didn’t ... he woke up and the first thing he wanted to do is see his “boyfriend” the same strong feelings he had then will still be present now. It’s not his fault. (I know it’s not the story plot but) Imagine being madly in love with someone, you’re all lovey dovey and you go to sleep like normal after the best date ever...& let’s throw in that you were for sure wanted to marry that person and then you wake up and find yourself in the hospital and not only has one day haven’t past but instead several years. & you are telling me you’re gonna get over it right then and there? Like what’s the first step you would want to do? You wanna see family and lovers/partners and then you see they have moved on and has a family too. Like it’s some weird ass betrayal for me.. like I know it isn’t their fault but sheesh in your mind your concept of time is off and it’s like overnight your partner found someone new... & y’all want him to move on immediately??
