Let's us not expect unrealistic healing when Psyche literally has been kept in a basement throughout her whole life only for Eros to manipulatively come sweeping in to "rescue" her once her power peaked. Her whole life has been set up to be Eros' manipulated toy that I'm genuinely surprised she even managed to break out of that abusive mental shackle to this extent.
