Technically no they are different people with different lives but she is a reincarnation of her. The way the story explains it is that she has been reincarnated multiple times throughout different world all with suffering. Irene is an older reincarnation i believe so that’s why erin’s personality a lot(?) more different then Irenes. So no but kind of yes? It’s complicated
