Yet your group, you in particular, claim that no romance exists in a yaoi story when rape is involved. I disagreed with you during this discussion. I know that there are yaoi stories where romance happens after an initial situation in which rape occurs. I've claimed that romantic development is possible in a yaoi story, if the author writes it that way. It's up to the author to tell the story, and if they write that there's romance, there is romance, not matter how much you doggedly insist there isn't. In a story where there is an initial rape, a situation can and does unfold within the story in which certain events lead the couple into romantic love. I've read many such stories
For you to claim that it never happens is to deny reality. In your collective minds, it seems, that if the seme rapes the uke, no romantic development between the pair is possible. You say it never happens. To you and your gang it's out of the question.

The truth is that even when there's rape, a yaoi story can and usually is romantic. If it wasn't, no one would read it. For saying so, I'm accused of "romanticizing rape."

i don't get why this keeps coming up. If a couple wants to fantasize and play a game where one of them is pretending to rape the other, like the top goes outside and pretends to break in - the window's unlocked LOL, and it's their own bedroom he's breaking in to. The bottom is like, "help help" - but not too loud cuz it could wake up the neighbors. Both people are going to break character to laugh their asses off at least a couple of times, but in the end the scenario can be hot as hell. How do you turn someone talking about a fantasy, which, by definition, is something in the mind and thoughts. Real life can't be fantasy. Saying I said try it can't possibly be me saying to try something real. It's a scene like in a play. It's not possible for me to say try out a fantasy and me mean for you to try going our and get rl raped. Why would you say such a thing as accusing me of something bad when I said the word fantasy? It's an accusation that is normally never made unless it's certain. Falsely accusing someone is itself a crime. This is not a project or a game.
