Already read the novel and it was kinda boring. He does try to make it up for his mistakes and tries to be a good father but the redemption part was rushed. Suddenly they're a happy family? A bit disappointed. (And the reason why the seme even got a chance to win back his family was because he was rich, if he probably wasn't then the chances of him getting them back are very low)
