Ah but I think rather than a plot point, it reflects reality a lot too that's why it's so prevalent. The main factor when you fall in love with someone is somehow you feel connected to them - like they could understand a part of u, or that you understand a part of them which others don't or can't see or appreciate.
It makes sense that if someone accepts or understands a part of you that nobody has ever understood or even noticed, you're likely to fall in love with them.
Though it's kinda cliche but I don't mind it. Also for this author Idk why but I'm looking forward to it since this falling in love with chansol will be a catalyst moment for him and chatacter development hopefully or he might even become more evil which will be fun. So I don't mind it. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

I totally agree with what you said. But my problem is that yaoi mangas make it too convenient for someone to fall in love through understanding. Like, popular celebrity hot guy -> puts on a fake face -> no one understands me -> someone does and its the main lead. I mean it's been too conveniently placed which just makes me appreciate it less.

Well... it's fiction so the author will obviously write what they want (⌒▽⌒) the point of making movies, anime, manga is showing how characters come together like it's fate (written in the stars) you meet people accidentally and they're exactly what you need.
It's not a YAOI thing... it's in every single medium of art. If you don't like such plots; I don't know how you can read or watch any movie...people come together "conveniently" everywhere and some of them fall in love when they meet someone who understands then, which is the essence of any relationship that is going to last.
If you think yaou is cheesy, you should see shoujo lol. And even more than that, shounen where the whole team comes together out of destiny or at least the protagonist.

Also if you wanna read a comedy based on the absuribdites of the yaoi world, which honestly made me laugh so much because it's on point, is this one: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/zettai_bl_ni_naru_sekai_vs_zettai_bl_ni_naritakunai_otoko/
Hahahahaah you'll laugh so much because it's exactly the kind of bl manga that makes fun of yaoi tropes.
Ah the old "only he understand me" trope...
The author is trying hard to make the readers sympathetic to Starr but idk...he seems like a sociopath, or more so, he has a troubled personality and needs therapy to sort out his anger issues. Falling for chan-chan is ok, but what if when he realizes chan-chan loves hanhoo...he already hates him so much so I hope he wouldn't do anything drastic in retaliation.
But his "maybe I'll send him a video of Chansol moaning underneath me" got me like ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ it was so evil that it kinda turned me on lmaooooo
Hanhoo would absolutely lose his shit.
He is gonna do that when he finds about this lil affair hahahaha poor chansol...
I miss hanhoo's face a lot...
I almost died without these updates damn. I'm so glad mangago is back.
Looking forward to the next chapter because shit is gonna hit the fan...........
