I am not complaining its pointing out that for someone who is treated as "the princes posession" she still has more power than anyone under the crown prince. Because one ord from her to him and he will punish anyone under him, and she knows this. She also knows that FL cant force her to speak formaly because of this and uses it to speak informal under the guise "were friends" but FL has never said they are frineds ans asks her at every encounter to speak formaly to the nobels (she choses to ignore FLs wish every time!).
Its not that she donst know to she choses not to, whitch means she has the power to chose not to.
Also she knows almost everyone in the palace likes her aka the " its fine il just go get treated at the palace doctor, he will treat me because he LIKES me" She keeps emphasising how everyone likes her infront of FL, like rubbing it in her face.
Only the royals can get treated by the palace doctor and yet she hurts her hands and can just walze in and get treated by him, thats a privilege others dont have!
She has so many privileges she is on pare with the royal family and yet the "shes just a commoner" but shes a commoner with royal privileges.
As for the mental abuse, the original FL has a mental beaks down because of the princes treatemnt of her and went fully insane to the point she tried to kill Helena hence resulting in her death. Then taken into acound that he slaped her without hearing her out, how did he treat FL when alone together or when Helena wasnt around? Its obvious he holds back when Helena is there... And yet as the "sweet, innocent person who cant stand to see ppl in pain or unhappy" But where is that support for FL if she was realy kind wouldnt she respect her "friends" wishes and speak formaly when out in puplic? Or jup in and defend her frined after she was spaled over a misunderstanding or say anything to try and comfort FL?
Instead when shes alone with FL she goes "I can go there and there and there because they like me" thats not being nice thats bragging.
