There’s been some drama between the Spanish translation team and a Russian site they accused of stealing their work. The English translation uses the Spanish raws so that's likely the reason why.
So did Spanish team translate this sentence into Russian only to make Russians feel uncomfortable?
That’s right. There were a bunch of statements, rude comments and the sorts thrown around. Russian site tried to clear up the situation but the translators were not having it so it just ended up turning kind of petty imo.
Well that's sounds just halarious. I saw something about it in Russian translatiors' group but thought that was a joke
