Yes! i didn't read the whole novel but it does conveys patrizia's feelings so much better and really makes you feel and understand what she's feeling. Did you read the original text or a translation?? i can't find any translation to continue it
I've read the whole translation until sidestory 3 and just the summary of the last side stories I don't quite remember where i've read it but this is a happy ending.

I feel like the emotions these last few chapters is not conveyed properly bcs on the novel you can really feel rizi's hatred towards the emperor and it is very heart wrenching. Also this is the part where lucio will have a resolve about his feelings and decisions also enlightenment on why he is so attached to rosamund reading the novel is also a good way to understand lucio's depth as a character, his inner thoughts and how he loathes himself.
