From what I have known, these extra chapters are chapters before chap 1 happened so this is like the chief's point of view before chapter 1 really happend which is doyun's pov. I hope it make sense. More on its a throwback of what happened before. (=・ω・=)

i think the side story is just supposed to be like a different version of the story w/ the same characters
