when shin sent that announcement to the kitchen, he put that the debutante ball was going to happen in 2 months. The writer put that down in her book. But then again, none of the other places received a date for the ball...

The fanfiction u mean? He bought em all to find a clue who tf wrote it. He knows it was insider who wrote it (they wrote a real info about the palace in ff) then he asked Randolph to send a message to all divisions. Without em knowing, each message has a different note.
Like for Kitchen div, it said the ball is about to start in 2 months with 200 guests meanwhile in other div it sais 3 months and 600 guests. So when the new novel said "the ball will start in 2 months and 200 guests" it's easy to find the culprit. Shin trapped em. Lmao.

Shin is ill due to a true serum th doubled as a potent magic drug. When he was abducted by Count (longhaired redhead guy) Mosshire's court they tried to pry his secrets and Wolfgang's whereabouts from him using it. But Shin devised a plan that would prevent himself from being able to reveal Wolf's location. Unfortunately he was given so much drugs that he is now basically wasting from magic poisoning. He's passing out, torture wounds not healing, can barely eat and he's hearing/seeing shit.

Wolf and the gang consisting of Ulysses, Dame Gareth and Ruben are now in the Chekrihol Federation trying to seek an audience with their head of state whose name we don't know yet but looks quite handsome. They aren't exactly succesful at the moment tho. We need to wait a bit to see if they can get the Leader of the Federation to agree to give them or trade what they need to cure Shin.
