So i have been digging in some sites for spoiler.
Mainly regarding the ML
The prince is the ML (the call him Ciel instead)
The prince knew that Veronica was fake (i didn't know when tho)
Apparently he loves Elena even in the past timeline, I heard he was being cold to Elena because he wants to protect her
He really cared about Elena's pregnancy with Ian, because of spies in the palace. If he gives attention to Veronica, the duke will gain more power.
Cecilia and Ciel had a political marriage (no feelings or whatsoever going on there)
The Prince hated the real Veronica but was attracted to fake Veronica

I couldn't hate the prince actually, he was really struggling to keep things together from what I see, the emperor died, he was filled with guilt because of cecilia's death, the power struggles, this shitty ass duke that wants to suppress him and the MC 's death (past timeline) i think he suffered as much as the mc is so I can't hate him.
In the current timeline, Elena and Ciel meet secretly to defeat the duke.
I think they had Ian again inthe future (i wasn't sure about this one tho)
Real Veronica was executed i think?
Even in the past timeline they said it was implied that Real Veronica was killed by Ciel

And the novel's SS1 last part that broke my heart
Was after Elena's death (in the past time line)
Ciel was talking to Ian
The woman no one in the world remembered. she couldn't even leave a trace just because she was a substitute. He didn't even know her name.
Ian was the only precious being she left to the world

"Ian, Your mother. She was the most beautiful and well-bred woman in the world. So let's remember. Even though she lived as a shadow, she was a better queen than any other. Only you and I should not forget, Ian. Do you understand?"

SO STOP HATING ON MY PRINCE, I didn't really hate him that much even before I've read the spoiler :((
