With the flowers I think is isn't the brothers fault.
Now it was careless of them to just choose a popular flower to give to her without considering what she may actually like. Its like a man giving a woman roses just because "women like roses". But it does seem like her allergy, like most things concerning her, was just not spoken of. So the brothers just didn't know. The other brother was right when he said that as a child he learned how to mistreat his sister from his father. His attempts to make up are trite, but at least he's doing so.
The fact that they didn't know that just goes to show how little they cared about her to begin with. That dad should be killed and the brothers should be stripped of their title and possessions. I cry everytime I think about her suffering, it's so infuriating
