You said my thoughts exactly!ヾ(☆▽☆) While I would never choose to have Rio get himself unhappy or is getting hurt I think in the end and long run it will be good for him and hopefully we will see some character development.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
And to be clear I don't mean the "Oh I see he is with another guy I am jealous but turns out this guy is an asshole so I come and save him at the last minuet and we apologize and it results in us hooking up again" kind of development.(￣∇￣")
Ughhh it hurts but it's for the best that he became honest. It's obvious Rio is obsessed with Shingo and hates Kagami because he stole Shingo from him. The start wasn't good as well because it was obvious he looked at him a Shingo's replacement. There's also the factor where he felt lonely because his father got taken by someone else as well. Rio needs to man up and be mature. He needs to reflect and think for himself not rely on the feeling that someone likes him to fill his loneliness. Ritsu has to be firm and not give in otherwise it wouldn't end well.
