This is a doujinshi because both MCs, and other characters, come from SNK's (the videogame company) universe.
Benimaru comes from KOF saga and Freeman from GarouMOTW, they've never met in canon.
BTW, I know it is a doujinshi but is it only available in a webtoon form? When I refer to “doujinshi”, I have all paper copies of doujinshi but I cannot figure out if this has a paper form.....I am not big on e-book type things. I buy chapters but will not upload them to save for later.......just thought I would ask, since you are knowledgeable regarding the origin of the characters, not many people know this.....
