Idk I feel like there's a lot of people behind this like could it be that the person who murdered her parents try to kill her and then her brother? But who would benefit from their deaths? Well I'm just thinking of it as for one she probably picked him out simply because he looked like the love of her life and two he might have nowhere else to go and if he does leave he could just become a slave to somebody else but also remember he was watching her at the ball in the tree saying Master something I can't really remember so I think he might be a spy something is definitely off about him though it could just be obsession
