But if you go back to the chapter where Eren says that he did not want to leave his titan powers to any of the people he loved, he was looking at Mikasa (specifically) while blushing like a tomato. That, my dear fellow reader was him being honest for once about his feelings, but later he knew (got the confirmations through memories and certain events) that he wouldn't be able to do anything about them .
Not nearly enough especially when you take into fact that he had a whole monologe before that blushing scene about how everyone in there was special for him. We can argue about examples but at the end of the day the romance between Eren and Mikasa was badly written

Ok i mean the ending was not trash but it was not great either, i find the relationship between Eren and Mikasa weird by nature since they grew up like siblings and also mikasa said that she saw him as family but okay lets just say that that is my problem.
I don't understand the romance between Eren and Mikasa like we never got anything from the last 3 seasons. Mikasa was always behind Eren like a love sick puppy and he never once looked at her with some kind of romantic feelings, ok i am not saying that they should have gone to dates and shit but Isayama could have just thrown us a few hints mostly through Eren
And okay lets say that they were kids and they didnt know what they wanted, but even as adults Isayama never showed us Eren's affection towards Mikasa he always looked cold towards her. And then at the end you throw in my face that he actually was in love with her and then expect me to get emotional????? Like bruh you never built that relationship between them so I'm not emotionally invested on their love
