I mean they literally barely treated each other as brothers, despite them being step brothers. It was all forced and the parents got divorced already, like so many years ago, so imo I think it's already ok

Also this is for your kind information that, they were never blood related nor did they have any brotherly relationship going on. They are never gonna be joint by a marriage their parents which also was only for a brief moment in the far past. So I do not understand from which shit you are bringing the 'step bros' shit.
Then that would be a totally different story with totally different dynamics. If their brief step-brotherhood, which is imposed on them, repulses you that much, then you shouldn't have read it from the start. It was not a secret.

I really love this but why do that HAVE to be step bros they could have Frenemies since childhood and there parents are just close? ? ?
