I kind of just figured that their barrier creates an illusory space for regular people. Kind of like in the Harry Potter series, where normal peoples' eyes just naturally skip over the space they're in, or they see an illusion of the same building.
But what happens after it's cancelled they can't keep it up forever
idk, lol! Maybe they have a special PR team that just tells the public more "normal" excuses that match the severity of the damage. Like a truck crashed into a building, or there was a small explosion due to stupid kids mixing chemicals???? If they blame it on underage kids, then they never have to give a name or photo to the media...
