while I agree with that, I don't think the mc is the problem here? his fears are completely valid since his personal info WAS being spread behind his back by that girl, and since he has past trauma with that I wldve been more surprised if he didn't panic ,,,, he has boundaries yk

agreed! he also immediately halted the conversation because he knew he wasn’t in a place to have it at that time. I think some of his boundaries are obviously a bit more like walls, but you can’t force someone to bring those down for you. It’s always their choice in the end. Your power however lies in assessing whether there is room between that person’s boundaries/walls and your own to allow a relationship to grow/needs to be met/growth to be realized.
All in all, he handled this really well by being direct, honest, and even noticing in real-time how his feelings were offloading hurt to the person in front of him. That’s tough!
I mean i get it ofc, tbh it's just the weird unapologetic "i have trauma so I'm not dealing w this" feel, which realistically isn't helping anyone, even himself.
I assume stuff's gonna unfold as the story progresses (hopefully with the girl tied to the bottom of a river)
