I refer to most of the comments complaining about all the romance and not enough of the action, which used to litter the comment section, and those were most clearly boys... I hadn't read them in a while and recently, once there were more comments of ppl accepting the female character (not sure if she's the lead yet) so now there seem to be a whole lotta jealous ass comments which are likely more fangirls... weird how the climate has changed... maybe the baby incels have now dropped this story and the fangiirls are bubbling to the surface and that's what you're noticing. Still not as many and as virulent and the baby incels' comments were before....
