    Not nice saying this bro

Wait, what? It was just an expression, more about how a buddy comes first than having a possibly offending word in it, if this is what it's all about. I don't wanna have to explain the concept of context.
Uhm, Siouxsie_Sioux, I don't want things to get stirred up when there's no need for them to be.
Let's think a bit more about things. Please?

actually i dont get how 39 ppl can like such a comment-.- even if u say its already kinda like a proverb... still... thats why alot young ppl or even children think words like hoe, bitch etc is normal. sure we always cheer for our "boys" but we dont reduce women to such terms, even if they r annoying. and btw this time she wasnt even annoying, she was hurt, u say alot of shit if u r hurt, i bet she regrettet it the same time she spoke it out loud.

I think my first reply to Siouxsie_Sioux can address to this comment although it seems that you've read it since you've already marked it as annoying. I'm not sure what wasn't clear when I meant to say that I chose it because it was a familiar phrase that applied to the situation rather than because it has an offending word in it. I didn't mean to insult or reduce the girl by calling her a ho because I only meant "girl" by that word. I wouldn't be itching to put a cuss word in there if the saying (I never meant proverb) went like, "Bros before girls" but that doesn't have any rhyme to it, does it? I mean, I feel ridiculous sounding like I'm defending such a shallow, common phrase but really it's about my intentions and people jumping at it upon the mere sight of one bad word. Even I wouldn't want to hear children using those words in casual conversation unless they're citing something. Get the difference? My glob, I don't know why I have to comment a novel just to explain this. And about the girl's actions, I've made a previous comment about that and I think we have close opinions on that one. I'm sorry, I'm just not the type to degrade female characters in yaoi because they're annoying.
Lastly, for globsakes it feels nice when people likes my comments but I'm not writing huge blocks of replies here because I feel threatened about the number of likes I get. I just want people who don't to understand.

Anons can't use the dislike button. Only registered users can. Just a new piece of info. :)
Btw, I get that it was just a playful expression, and not to be taken seriously. People can read a lot into these things, so you should ignore it when someone fires back at you for something that you hadn't intended to convey. They have their own point of view of what you wrote, although you had meant it in a light way; just a funny punchline for those who'd read the latest chapter.

I have a feeling tho, that most of those who upvoted where of the opinion that you were bashing the girl and they agreed with you on that, even if you thought otherwise. I think that was what the anon was trying to say, albeit in a poorly framed sense.

It is the internet dude; we can't convey appropriate feeling that we may wanna communicate in just one sentence - people misunderstand. So DON'T apologise for writing a novel - really, it just shows how classy you are as an individual. And bravo for what you said about the girl. I share the same sentiment. :D

as the above poster wrote it wasnt me who pressed annoying since im not registered.
but u dont need to act as if i attacked u personal ,i can as u did , openly write my opinion. and i think that even if ment in a non-agressive or offensive way , words still can be seen in different way w/o context. i dun want to start a principled discussion about the using of " slang" words in every language since the beginning of rap or other music. but to mundane call women these words is a disgrace to all girls/women.thats my opinion even if u say u didnt mean it like that. mby im too old to find that amusing but thats mby even "just" me.
and i always think in terms of my fav couple in yaoi: guy over girl =).

Yeah, the internet, of course. Well, at least I've explained myself. Although, if your feeling is right about the likes, then that's really too bad. Oh, and thanks for the info. Accusing her/him was really stupid of me.

I don't like this. It sounds vulgar. ( ̄へ ̄) And the point of the expression is friendship before flirting, not men before women.

    Lola March 24, 2016 6:54 pm

This is a common expression, it fit the chapter :)

So bros before hos doesn't sound vulgar ?

I thought the point was that the other expression degrades the girl so this one's better. I know it still has some bad words in it but I promise I don' just throw out vulgar words out of my mouth whenever I can (the expressions fit the chapter) so please don't wash my mouth with soap. I don't like how it tastes.
Also, I know it's just a simple phrase but Lola finally mentioned the words I can't come up with yesterday in my stupid frustration, friendship before flirting, so yeah, not about the girl being a ho at all. But I used the word nonetheless and I understand why you disapprove so, agree to disagree about what is harmless and what isn't. I swear I won't go out and campaign for cursing.

umm it's not that vulgar tbh.well for me at least, im no saint (ofc im not,i read yaoi lol)
just see it as an expression that fits the chapter.

Oi, you should probably ignore the posters or something for bashing on what you'd said, which, by the way, was a perfectly harmless joke seeing that most people here are supposed to be mature teens or adults who can think or rationalize by themselves.

When you get dumped by a girl if you are a guy, of course you'd want to get cozy in a totally platonic way with your buddy. Same thing applies with girls. In the case of this manhua, A Xi values their friendship more than the sake of getting a girlfriend or a boyfriend. That is what the OP means, or so I think. And that is perfectly fine, haha!

We use 'terms' all the time for different situations. It is just a matter of whether it is appropriate enough to use such cusses, which, by the way, when used in the right context, comes off as effin hilarious. The OP's comment, for example! :D
Over forty people happen to lol at your comment, OP, so you should probably ignore those who come at you.
