many of those who hate tess came from the novel. her personality isn't really the best from what i have read. and yup she is more to the annoying side for me. i don't know how others would feel ╮(￣▽￣)╭

As someone from the novel I can attest that she just continuously drags Arthur down and gets worse （￣へ￣）

She does get jelly over Arthur smiling and responding to other girls, like by pinching or hitting his arm etc. but mainly there's a huge plot point in the novel that basically Tess just f*cks everyone up by being stupid and selfish. Which isn't her first terrible decision either.
why do so many hate tess, first off its common knowledge that author likes tess he sort of against it tho bc yk his body doesnt match up with himself mentally. plus she hasnt really done anything to be disliked abt. shes one of the strongest females in this. Plus yk stuff like this always have the females weak and annoying. i personally think tess is okay but eh(〜￣△￣)〜
