So it has gaming arcade more, as it has shown in chapter, but China doesn't have much gaming arcades, so shuji deliberately challenged jiu to play different game in arcade, bc shuji knows that game is only available in Japan. And Chinese don't know them, even if they do, they won't be able to play as well as Japanese. So shuji challenged jiu to play a game which requires fast hand speed, and that gaming machine had higher score which was shuji's. But what shuji didn't know was Jiu is reincarnated and before when she was hacker she used to be at Japan as well, so she's pro at all type of gaming at gaming arcade as well. So in this chapter, they both compete on this gaming machine, and as you can guess who'll win Hehe.

In previous life, jiu was hacker and on top of that hackers have things that they can't tell to ppl, so she used to be alone, except she had 2 friends, one died but another was hoshino. Hoshino is as smart as jiu and was partner in her hacking thing. So only hoshino in her past life knew that she was a girl and a hacker as well. He used to assist her in every mission of hacking. In novel, it was said hoshino knew jiu so well if he just saw her hand speed or the devilish smile she gives, he would recognize her right away, regardless of gender or her crossdressing or different looks.

Yes, jiu is top hacker, Hoshino isn't pro at hacking as jiu but he knows basics, so he assists her pretty well. And you'll see their amazing chemistry of hacking and solving cases soon too. And someone will get jealous too lmao.

It's not a love triangle imo, as they both have eyes for each other but Bc of different principles, jiu always try to get away from mo. And hoshino is sort of bestfriend to her as he always supports her.
