Well, if you think about it, who would take some time to roast someone when your loved one is in your arms, suffering and out cold? Like, he will be able to be mad and crush that stupid bitch all he wants the next chapters but right now, the condition of his future wife is way more urgent.

I am not satisfied with how he handled the situation, I'm not saying he should've punched her (would've been quite the sight if he did tho), but all he said was shut up and all that, the least he could've done was crush that bitch Kaya's pride and spirit. He's got a sharp tongue, why not make use of it when needed. Sigh. And he was supposed to be cruel and cold. Quite disappointed, ngl.
