the father is also in the right though, he doesn’t want to see his son hurt because cha kyung joo used to be a dickhead and slept around with all sorts of people - he didn’t want him to abandon his son, that’s why he was so against it. he also doesn’t want anything to happen to woo young and after the passing of his wife he’d obviously be much more overprotective. he just loves and cares about woo young so much , i’d like a father like him.
