I think it depends because both are very good. However, I think you might want to watch it first because the manhua as so beautiful art that the wait can serve as excitement?
i watched the anime first but it left out some things so i’d really recommend reading the novel if you can- and the the anime and then this bc this leaves out so so much stuff

I think its better if you read the novel first. So you will not be confused. Cuz novel is a lot more detailed than the manhua and donghua trust me if you watch the donghua after reading the novel you will watch it with ease
