JiWook probably subconsciously wanted to spend time with him as well yep. Also, seing how Seungeon never had a bag with him, didn't come to school at times? smokes etc, probably made Jiwook assume he must not be good at studies.
You know what. If Seungeon really needed tutoring all he'd have to do is ask his parents to hire a private tutor. There was no need to ask Jiwook for help. I'm surprised Jiwook never questioned it. I suppose he also wanted to spend time with him so badly that he didn't realise something was off.
