Jihun and Heewun were something or what that's why Jihun wanted him to remember his man?

Yup he was originally the male lead of the story(specifically the first book) but then the publisher (I think) don't like his appearance so they changed Jihun to the another character which is heewuns current boss. Sadly Jihun's the only character who remembers who he really is aside from the author.
