TBH I Like the plot of the Manga better.. I think it's darker, realistic and more interesting.. Because I have read the novel and it was kinda boring.. But I don't like how they are dragging it though .
They dont follow the novel becuase spoon doesnt want people to hate Jeanette. In the novel Jeanette is pure evil.

Yes a evil lonely jealous child. Even after finding out who where dad was and who wasnt her dad. She still continued to be evil. Mind you I hate novel Jeanette not manhua Jeanette. Those two are completely different. Novel Jeanette is evil and manhua Jeanette is just stupid
I definitely agree with you. I was ready to hate Jeanette in the manhua but Spoon didn't let that happen. Jeanette was trash in the novel but she isn't in the manhua which is why it is dragging on for me. I like to hate characters when they don't have redemption arcs but obviously, Jeanette is gonna get a happy ending so I am conflicted on what I want to happen to her.
Hmm I don't know .. I just thought she didn't do anything extreme to be evil Like her real father or her mother .. she just lived an illusion her whole life and she found out the truth she couldn't except it .. and athanasia loved her and she loved athanasia too .. To be honest with I really can't stand her at all neither in the novel nor the manhua so I can where you're coming from .
Why is this so true? am conflicted on how I should feel about her. In the novel I hated her and I like to hate characters who dont move the plot by anyway. I hate characters who are useless. Jeanette is one of them but spoon isnt letting me cause she tryna make Jeanette useful.. get it?
Why couldn't they just follow the novel? I wish they followed what the novel said and the conflict would be done a long time ago. Solo leveling is fun to read cause it follows EXACTLY what the novel states even the dialogue.
