I think he did it. He says he and his dad use similar sneaky tactics and when there was an email about how he was going to an omai before Maki broke up with him, he assumed it was his dad. This makes me think he is manipulating Maki a bit with the emails. But maybe it is his brother.
Well I guess that solves the issue, but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if those med tests had been fine. Oh well, all's well that ends well, except maybe for Daddy dearest..
