I have a suspicion that Tia is trying to set up Aubrey. Tia put Aubrey in charge of her jewels and I think Tia knows Aubrey will most likely do something stupid and then Tia will put Aubrey in her place. Like I'm sure if Aubrey like steals some of the jewels she'll get punished, fall out of favor with Duke and possibly sent out of the castle. Tia did say before she basically wanted to do something with Aubrey to where she wouldn't be an obstacle in the future.

On another note, when Duke said he basically just realized Tia and Aubrey were the same age I laughed pretty hard, just shows that maturity goes a long way.
He sees Aubrey as a child and Tia an adult even though they're both 18. Grow up a little Aubrey (〜￣△￣)〜
