This kind of plot is more common than you think..I'm sure i've read many one-shots with storyline like this.

maybe another reason for similarity is that they are both from yamamoto sensei .writers tend to have a definite style and maybe she ended up writing similar plot unconsciously? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
