I’m not sure really. I don’t denounce people for liking it by any means though. I can see why others like it, I just personally don’t. There’s a lot of layers to it, but overall it just left a very sour taste in my mouth.

I’ve got quite a few reasons for disliking it, but it seems like they’re all just personal issues I have with the story. Most people would disagree with every criticism I have towards this manhwa, so maybe I’m not the best point of reference hahah. I’d give it a try if you’re interested but I personally would not recommend it.
This is one of the worst stories that I have ever had the displeasure of reading, and I truly despise it from the bottom of my heart. Unfortunately, the BDSM representation is quite impressive, which is a shame because it is heavily intertwined with the abominable storyline.
Never have I ever wanted to gouge my eyes out as much as I did while forcing myself to finish this disgrace of a manhwa. On the bright side, finishing it allowed me to find the hidden gem that is the chapters 54-56 BDSM scene, so now it's just a matter of trying to disassociate it from the rest of the trash. If you're looking for some great D/s and S&M play, but don't want to subdue yourself to the previous 53 chapters (and the abhorrent second couple), then I recommend reading chapters 54-56 and pretend that they're part of a one-shot. Those chapters are disconnected enough from the main story that you can just act as if the main storyline doesn't exist, without having to actually suffer through the entire drama-ridden plot.
