I prefer that. How it went down in the manga seems weak and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
While I understand that the characters in the novel might be kinda underdeveloped, I cannot comprehend the creative choice, logic and portrayal of the characters in this manga adaptation!

The novel sound better. Doughlas in manga sounds like a pushover, not all things should be forgive and forget. （￣へ￣）
That's actually better than the manga where its just all forgiven. Like what??? What they did to Douglas is unforgivable if you ask me.
I read the light novel and this redeeming act/regretful exposition didn't happen at all!
Douglas is way less forgiving in the novel than in the manga.
Ravi never connected with sympathy to Alan.
Alan went into a coma and Sage was delivered by Douglas to the authorities.
Sage did not have any dignity left and behaved very pathetic.
