And he didn't ask for the mine in her past life I think, like FL said it was a contract in the current timeline (so an exchange) and she was the one who brought it up, so they both got something out of the other
I don't like him either but I doubt that him comforting her was to manipulate her into wanting to marry him to get her wealth

I don’t know the rest of the story but I see everyone spitting on the ML, and I just want to say... Try to put yourself in his shoes : one day you meet a woman crying alone and try to somehow comfort her, a few days later you hear that you are forced to marry that woman because she asked for it (based on what the translator said, he couldn’t avoid it), and it seems like he was close to his fiancee, so it’s common sense that he is cold to her
Yeah it was a dick move to separate the FL and her child and he is an asshole for that, but I just can’t bring myself to love the FL just yet, like, what did she expect, him being all sweet and caring when she basically force herself his life?
