Well if you’ve been keeping up with the manga I bet you remember the guy who thought he was Yuuiji’s best friend (I forgot his name sorry) you know the guy with the Boogie Woogie technique. After fighting with Yuji he became under the impression they were “brothers from another mother” if you may. And thinking back on that everyone was really confused because they never met before, but we all just shook it off as if it was just a funny comic relief moment.
Well I’ve been seeing these theories and I think they may be correct. They state that Yuji’s parents were sorcerers, and seeing as his mother did have the scars on her forehead simular to Geto’s body I think it may be a really good theory.
And I don’t know if you’ve forgotten but for some odd reason Yuji has super strength. We never quite got this explained to us either which backs up the point Yuji’s parents were Definitely not normal.
Now going back to what I’m trying to say, I believe Yuji inherited a technique from his mother. This technique to be precise is the ability to change or alter peoples memories. That’s why the cursed womb thinks they are brothers, and that’s why the guy from the Kyoto Sister arc thinks they are best friends. Using the example of Yuji’s parents again, his father didn’t seem to find his mother’s forehead scars odd. But his grandfather did.
I believe that Yuji’s mother possessed the ability to change or manipulate memories but after she and his father mysteriously passed away, Yuji had no one to teach him about the ability or anything so he never quite noticed it. But when he joins Jujustu Tech and eats Sukana’s fingers he’s suddenly aware of these techniques and maybe Sukanas powers awakes the technique in him unknowingly. That’s why all these people all of the sudden believe they have a connection to Yuji...
but yea that’s just my theory sorry it was all over the place.(づ￣ ³￣)づ
