
she's not mad about that, rather she feels terrified since Dylan was able to come up with a solution that she never thought of. Charlize is living off of her feeling of deep hatred and revenge for the royal family, once her plan is completed she will feel empty and ruin herself. Dylan had an intuition that if he just passively followed, Charlize will be no more. at first he wanted to kill the king but he found an even better revenge which was feeding the ehyrit. Dylan was able to come up with this without knowing about Charlize's background as Keira; seeing the emperor eat an ehyrit shard and become a mosnter like her feels like a more perfect revenge but at the same time she feels frustrated and unfullfilled since she cannot complete her revenge with the king forever alive. She feels like Dylan is not in her control, he is not a puppet like before that can be easily molded in her hands. that Dyan is terrifying, especially since he became a tyrant more than what she expected (note that dylan is a genius)

when dylan and charlize pull off the rebellion dylan realises that once char kills the emperor her goal of revenge would be fufilled and he would lose charlize as she wouldn’t be the same anymore once she’s done with her revenge so he feeds the emperor a fragment of the eherite and because of this, the emperor can no lomger die and charlize gets really mad at this as she can no longer murder the emperor and i havent read in further into the novel but after this she considers running away
