Trying to justify her being manipulative is fucked up and I'm pretty sure shes planning on destroying the whole fucking country which is even worse, destroying innocent people lives for her revenge which as I said is absolutely fucked even though he was a absolute mad lad at least he tried to better the country instead of destroying it.

Im sorry but i dont think her revenge is petty. For starters countless people died because the emperor wanted a sword .... not only through the experiment but also through corruption. Secondly, I think dylan is way too smart not to realise he was being used. In some panels he even hinted he was willing to be used just to be with her. Even before his mother died dylan knew charlize wanted something out from him- it was that small kindness that drew him in similar to how that other prince visited his mother’s grave. Thus, everything is entirely under an unspoken consent.

When they succeeded in the Rebellion, Dylan found out about the Emperor's plan to create Keira and saw Charlize's name as one of the candidate for the experiment he went mad and fed a piece of Eherite to the emperor and that prevented him from ever dying. When Charlize witnessed this scene she felt angry because Dylan promised to give the Emperor's life to her but her emotions soon turned into disgust and fear because even though the emperor tormented her in her past life, she still didn't want anyone else to experience the same torture. This is when Charlize was planning to run away from Dylan. In the near future enlightenment was given to Charlize, the goddess' body that turned into Eherite fragments was actually supposed to be used to find the next vessel qualified to house the powers of a god. The reason why Charlize's body successfully accepted the fragments in her body was because she was destined to be the next Goddess, but she was turned into a sword with an ego because she was modified by the scientists to take the form of a sword. Charlize unknowingly used her powers as a demigod to turn back time when she was Keira. When she went back her powers steadily increased and stabilized in her body, making her into the next goddess and that's why in this timeline she can see the spirits and fairies around her. When Dylan found out about how Charlize was gonna leave his side to take on the responsibilities of a goddess, he went insane and tried to turn Charlize back into Keira because he thought it was better for her to be a sword since she will always be by his side and always follow his commands.
