Well what was the point of all that doting when the twins were just misunderstanding them lol. Anyway I hope this story will be different in the sense that there won't be so many annoying misunderstandings.

I think it'll be different because in this one she's not really super self aware that she reincarnated, she still has the little kid mentality and maturity but just has hazy "dreams" of her past life.
In the story with the twins they remember everything and were fully aware of what was goin on with them.
The author was doin the whole 25 year old mind in 5 year old bodies type thing, so because the twins are mentally older they know better than to trust ppl so easily, or at least that's what the author was trying to portray, sometimes that story makes me slap my forehead.
But the difference is with this princess she's I think 10 and has a 10 year old mentality so she might be more accepting of the affection than the twins. I'm sure she'll be scared alot but that's to be expected since she was raised being a slave so she'll probly feel like she has to watch what she says and does all the time. It'll probly take awhile for her to learn that she won't get punished for every single thing she does or doesn't do, which is understandable. I have a feeling if all the brothers and father dotes on her she'll come around pretty quick.

So true. I can even begin to write down my irritation with that manga (twins sibling new life). I mean they r really 25 in evry sense of the word, except that their isekai bodies r 5 years of age. Unfortunately they don’t have the maturity of a 25 year old. They act so attached to their isekai lives despite remembering evrything from their last life and take evrything so personally. Normally, people in their situation would be a feeling surreal, only because of having vivid memories of 2 sets of lives. But it doesn’t happen here. It’s badly written, badly drawn... just third class quality in general.
The author tries to portray the twins as “only 5 year old” who suffered under their mother. And that is okay. But then they display the bitterness & revengeful ness upon their isekai brothers & father who had practically done all they could to get along with the twins & also earn their trust. If they had turned mistrustful of evryone I could understand due to the abuse they suffered. BUT they blindly trusted the rebel duke, his son, the various strangers/acquaintances etc like fucking lol. These twins keep saying “we’re only 5”, as if they r actually 5. The author is terrible. N let’s not forget their magic guardian, who literally shows up in front of evryone but their masters har har!
And that mind-sharing!!! When these twins grow up(puberty, wet dreams... :D) n get married, how is that going to work out! I sincerely think, it’s a third class manga, which will only serve to irritate the readers if logic is applied in any of the panels.

I stopped reading it ages ago lol to save myself from frustration.

It could've been written better, the concept of the twins and everything had a lot of potential. Granted, idk if you've read recent chapters, they seem to be coming around to warming up to the family and accepting they're royals n stuff and it looks like they're guardian is healing cuz of it so maybe it'll get better, who knows.
As far as the mind thing goes, I think it's voluntary for them. I think it was explained in the first couple chapters that they have to be able to see eachother to mind share, I don't think it's a thing that's constantly turned on. It seems they have their own individual thoughts that the other doesn't know about but when they want to speak to eachother then they can hear eachother.
