Please tell me if I'm wrong it's just a hunch after watching it for like 8 minutes
The Untamed is the drama of this story, yes. I've watched and the full story was adapted (well, not the kisses or bl things, of course xD). There's an anime too, with the same name (but not really complet).
You should watch it. I watched it before reading the novel and they're very mich the same except for the explicit scenes that were taken out because China. Still, the actors made sure that you can sense the sexual tension (Cue intense eye fucking) and the softer scenes are still there.

Of anyone know The Untamed on Netflix I'm pretty sure it's the live action of this story, like I watched the first episode out of curiosity and it's the same I'm sure of it although it isn't identical the guy summoned Wei Wuxian or whatever
