I mean Jaekyung did end up cutting them both off in the end. He ended up losing it mentally and gave both of them the fault that his life is messed up and all.
I felt for Kwon the most, that was real cruel but I'm not giving Jaekyung the fault, though, He got to a point where his distortions completely took over and overcame him.
wait, now re:reading this. in the last chapter it looks like his grades suddenly drop and he lost his friendship with Hanseol and Kwon moves after all. the ant also says that he lost everything. was that his imagination or did it really happen..
