People ship based on chemistry... I mean i ship james and liam (the two princes at first) because their interaction are cute and funny, but audrey (the pink haired lady) started to appear and liam has more chemistry with her than with james (i've read until chapter 36 in indonesian webtoon), so i ship liam and audrey too
Mangago only has 10 chapters, so basically the story hasn't reach the point where readers can see liam and audrey's cuteness, all they can see is james and liam, so it's normal to be disappointed or even leave the story for those who don't want to give a chance to audrey, it's not about mlm/bl, it's about people who tend to ship couple who appeared first, imagine a situation where you ship a male character with a female character that were always together for 8 chapters, but suddenly there's a new male character in chapter 9 and apparently the female character end up with the new character not the one you shipped her with
Honestly i found many other people criticized that it's a fetish to ship two male characters who are obviously just friends, but the thing is male and female characters can be only friends too, many straight ships from shounen anime didn't end up canon and only stay as friends without any romantic moments at all but people still ship them and they imagine there's romantic spark between the
boy and the girl characters while actually there's none at all, so i think it's okay to ship a pair of cute bestfriends as romantic no matter what the gender is, as long as the ship is fictional characters, since shipping real people who are just friends might be rude and uncomfortable
Fetishizing is probably when they ship every good looking male characters even when those characters lack interaction in the original story and don't have any chemistry at all, and the reason they ship is not chemistry just simply the gender and how the characters are good looking
then why does he end up with the twin sister?? it would make more sense if he ended up with some else wouldn’t it? why would he end with someone who he didn’t actually like...
