By the way, while I understand everyone's dislike for Trashta, I feel uncomfortable that an abused unlucky slave who never had access to education and just wants to feel save has to be the dumb manipulative antagonist who dies at the end while the emperor/ex-husband lives.
no. trashta could have had everything. she could have lived a happy content life as the spouse of the king. But instead, she manipulates and kills people. She killed people like the maid. No backstory can justify her actions. She had a choice and she chose wrongly.

The writer made her like this and why should an abused slave be the evil antagonist at all?
I can understand that the author wanted to subvert the victimized damsel slave girl trope but slaves in real life are often pitiful human beings.

I do care about Rashta and that she didn't need to be that evil dumb.
The author shouldn't have flanderized her and then punished her with death.
It is not a good message to say "Don't help/rescue slaves because they will steal your husband or cause you tremendous trouble"
the point of the story isn’t abt shes a slave or whatever, its that her personality. she manipulated everyone for the sake of herself and then cause harm to others and shes literally a selfish and ignorant person duh
No argue about that but I wished Rashta wasn't depicted as an abused/raped slave.
Rashta is comparable to a Femme Fatale who used everything to against the norm but gets punished by the narrative at the end. They are villains because Hollywood feared amazonian women with agency owning their sexuality.
