I have realized that I may have been to biased. since we can obv see that the FL has been abused to its safe to say she has some sort of mental illness. the ML might have taken the child away to protect him but really tho. what I don't understand is the ex fiance. why would u bring her in. nvm.

he might have hated FL because the family decided to mess with the ML's internal succession. fine. fair enough. but at least. at the very least! take care of your God damn wife. you should know how people/servants would treat her. you would've heard about how her father hated her. you would know that she prob has some issue. esp after the time he met her and gave her advice. at least give some decency to your legal wife even if u hate her. :/

turns out the ML is just dumb? he was manipulated by the ex fiance. the dad is the trashiest of trash (wow who could've guessed.) anyway. after FL died. the ex apparently got back tgt with ml and they had a kid. because of some political benefit shit? (idk if it's legit.) anyway. 15 years passed and Elle (FL child) found out that his mother is actually the one that died and that he had always believed the woman who killed his mother was his mum. (read it slowly HAHAHH.) he confronted his dad and scolded him and all that jazz. he eventually confines his dad at the place where the mum died. apparently Elle is hella strong. he can make contracts with 3 spirits or more idk. but through the spirits he found out the truth. don't ask me how LOL. anyway while the dad was there. he eventually ran out of food and started to eat grass? and that's when he got some illusion or sees how the FL has lived there and regrets everything. he realized he was manipulated and missed the FL or smth. I think the Princes are bad too.
anyway. I've been seeing that the ML was the one that reversed time and I think it's safe to believe that. that's all for now.

Bcs the duchess and her son hated and looked down on him so much all his life that he grew up to be an emotionless kid that can’t and don’t know how to feel emotions.

One day Reina’s father asked him to marry his daughter and he can make Edgar the Duke but with one condition ‘he can’t fall in love with her, he just need to leave her suffering alone’, at first Edgar rejected, but later on he had no choice but to accepted the offer bcs his supporters (the vassals who support him to be the next duke) died one by one (I don’t know if it’s Reina’s father’s doing or the duchess and his son) and he had to keep his promise to leave her alone.

At Reina’s labour time, he didn’t neglect her as the manhwa pictured, he checked on her condition by asking the maids who help her labour. Even he felt angry and wanted to cut down the midwife’s neck when she said that he should choose the baby or Reina if the things go wrong.

Edgar gave his baby’s name after Reina (Reina, El, in Hangul it has same character with first two letters of Reina’s name) but he told her that it was his ancestor’s name. And he took the child from her was because she was mentally unstable, and will give him back after she’s fine.

Unfortunately when he was going to give El back, the war broke out so he had to leave the mansion for 6 years and asked the servants to take a good care of the duchess. But at the time he back to the mansion, he found out that Reina was still confined and that El was so close to the bitch, so he went to visit Reina with a doctor and it was already too late (as we can see in manhwa version), and the emotionless Edgar felt stuffy and hurt watching her died.
