This is my theory and I think those stupid adults think he's abnormal cause he wears dresses and they want to 'fix' him which is fucked up

I don't think so cuz as you can see in chapter 22 where that bitch was beating him up, he stand up for her saying that she's good buying him dresses and he's quite ecstatic mentioning those dresses. So I don't think it was against his will wearing those dresses and if he really was force then why only him?

Also there were those kids that bully him so if he's being forced then why not tell them that reason.

I'm not quite sure as well, but it feels a bit forced when he said he likes to dress up. I'm not sure if he's developed a weird coping mechanism and trick himself into thinking he likes it or he associated good times with dressing up, so he confused the two (kinda Pavlov ish). But that's just my speculation.
