I mean it definitely feels like when you’re gay, don’t know you’re gay/bi, and you have internalized homophobia so you’re obsessed with another gay person because you don’t realize how to unpack your feelings and that you’re drawn to that person and you keep thinking it’s all these other things but really you’re just curious because deep down you feel like you’re getting closer to answering these questions about yourself. But at the same time the internalized homophobia is working overtime to keep you from accepting or realizing the truth.
I think cirrus is not trying to be homophobic, I think he is genuinely curious maybe because he has never felt love in general towards someone, the same way you would ask "how does a kiss feel like?"
