I would love it if some genius author would take some time to study some actual relationships and use that knowledge to make a great yaoi. Maybe not just a slice of life yaoi but take it to fantasy, sci-fi, action, etc. I especially want to see it done in omega-verses. Aside from a very very small percentage (Love Shuttle for example) they are a special kind of trash with rape, oppression of a secondary gender, discrimination against minorities, forced stereotypes, and so on. Those may not all be in the same book at the same time but they are sprinkled around here and there and are often together. If there is a purely wholesome omega-verse out there will someone please tell me?
wholesome omegaverse is a tricky one but ig if youre fine with shonen ai then 'when the stars align' is cute but it hasnt been updated in a while there is still opression and the omegas are super child like in their thought process but the relationship between the main couple is whole some and you can see the omega actively try to get stronger so you might like it
