I think it's good for him to know what romantic love so that he can give an answer to tonari and mizuha coz like they need a closer or be rejected. Knowledge and understanding have been very crucial to him to move on or evolved I think understanding love more in depth doesn't mean he'll have a partner but I think It will help him relate to the knockers and come to in conclusion in what he needs to do in this modern era.
Every era he was in he slowly fit in thru knowledge, understanding and emotions the modern is more complicated as we are more understanding to our feelings, free to make our decisions unlike before and now he has more enemies and they have learned to adapt and fit in with humans. He has to adapt or evolve I think understanding love in depth will be crucial because its a crucial thing for human to be understandingof emotion. i really think fushi don't need to try to understand what love is because he already know what love is, he love his friends from the bottom of his heart, and this is so beautiful and pure, he cares very deeply for them, he doesn't need to have this psycho love that the hayase bloodline want to show him (the only hayase that was ok is kahak, but just friendship) and no i don't think he needs a lover he is doing just fine, his lover will die either way, it's not good for him, he just need to live in peace with his friends :c
