Really the 4 prince is the male lead. But i personally like the fl because she's a tired bitch
I liked the idea of a mature tired old soul powerful FL being very outrageous funny, punishing/humilating assholes and finally breaking her reincarnation curse...
But I lost my interest in that story when it turns out she and the story isn't that nuanced.
It is a melodramatic soap opera fantasy tale like we all know it.
FL is too forgiving to the stupid shitty father, she helps the toxic family to become less dysfunctional because the wronged pitiful original host desires it (FL did punished them in her own way but making the effort to reform them...), the MLs are absurdly too easily obsessed with her because she is not like other girls that left a very big impression on them, the blond prince just becomes more dumb to due his crush for the FL, the deerboy is also prince whose father is the tyrant who killed her and her close comrades in her previous life, her ML/4th prince is the only one who can break her curse and have easily the superior power, she unfortunately gets saved by the ML and the other more than once etc...
At the end she is a saint who has to forgive...
Even though she is has her badass joyful moments, turns out her power is very much restricted by a (silly) magical system...Unlike the ML who is given godslaying magic power to fullfil a mission like saving the world.
ML as a person may be fine but he is a priveledged larger than life hero...
I like to recommend "Sousou no Frieren".
She is a powerful smart badass elve but not overpowered at all. And she has no toxic love interests!
i'm about to drop this shit. the female lead already annoys me because of her being such a mary sue, but the reason why i didn't drop this is because of the deer boy. the male lead (4th prince) rarely shows up and i don't get why all female leads have to end up with tsundere sadists, like, are the fl's masochists or something? the fl in this manhwa just spoke up to the crown prince that she won't end up with him because of ulterior motives despite liking her so much, and i get that reasoning, but what if the 4th prince is the same? would the 4th prince also try to exploit Rubie and use it as his connections? i'm disappointed.（￣へ￣）
